Zionist Palestinian leaders constantly give cover for the ongoing zionist land theft by saying that it is still possible to arrive to a “two-state solution”. The “solution”, according to these people, is the replacement of the stolen land with an “equal” amount of land from “Israel”-proper. So let us take a look at the map of the West Bank, shall we? Just to get an idea about the value of the stolen lands that are being annexed unilaterally by the apartheid wall and the value of the land that is being squatted on but not annexed by the wall.
The map divides the West Bank into four parts:
1-Orange and light brown (respectively) : Lands that have high and medium possibility of water pumping and which are to be unilaterally annexed by ‘Israel’ via the apartheid wall.
2- Yellow: Lands that have little or no possibility of water pumping but which are to be unilaterally annexed by ‘Israel.’ This includes the Latrun salient.
3-Pink and blue (respectively): Lands that have high and medium possibility of water pumping, and which are not annexed unilaterally but have settlements on them and will still be the subject of “negotiations” after the first part is incorporated into ‘Israel’-proper.
4-Non-coloured: Lands that have little or no possibility of water pumping, and which are not annexed unilaterally but have settlements on them and will be included in negotiations.
The numbers you see on the pink and blue areas (water-rich but not unilaterally annexed) show the approximate number of settlements in these areas. There are approximately 128 settlements there, in addition to others in the non-coloured areas, particularly the Jordan Valley, which is accessible only to Jews. That some water-rich lands have not been annexed (pink and blue areas) is due to the impossibility of incorporating them without also incorporating Palestinian villages. Most of the water-rich areas with high possibility of pumping are already being annexed. There can’t/won’t be any negotiations over them. As for the remaining water-rich areas, the fact that they are not annexed does not mean that ‘Israel’ will be giving up on them. They will be “negotiated” for, and in all likelihood given up by zionist Palestinian leaders like Abbas and Fayyad who staged a coup d’etat against the democratically elected Islamic Resistance Movement-Hamas.
But back to the point, as the map clearly shows, a good portion of the land that is annexed or is to be negotiated for, is hydrostrategic territory, the loss of which cannot be made up for except in return for land of equal hydrostrategic value. In other words, unless the zionists are willing to hand over the area of the coastal acquifer, which stretches from “Hadera” all the way to “Yad Mordechai” (including “Tel Aviv”), no amount of land would make up for the hydrostrategic territory that is being outright stolen or illegally squatted on by fascist scum. In fact, not even the coastal acquifer is a match for the western acquifer in the West Bank alone. The latter actually replenishes the former. The zionist thieves refuse to even make do with one. They want control over both. And zionist Palestinians are willing to accommodate them “in return for equal amount of land elsewhere”. Emphasis being on the “elsewhere”. Where that will be, is of course up to debate… It could be in Zanzibar for all we know..
